The majority of my work career has been in banking, finance and the mortgage industry; that's what's paid the bills. However, I've always enjoyed cooking after watching my mother cook 3 meals for a family of 6 children. It seemed to bring her so much joy seeing her family and friends take a seat at her table and partake in meals that she had prepared while singing melodious tunes. I wanted to continue her legacy and provide the same experiences for my children, family and friends.

I started my business primarily by word of mouth. A simple Facebook post led to hundreds of weekend orders being prepared right out of my home kitchen. From there, I established necessary business qualifications and Verdie's Cobblers was birthed in 2016.
